A wholly edible plant! 💚You can eat the leaves and the flowers of this beautiful looking plant - it has a peppery taste similar to watercress or rocket. A great bitter green to eat before your meals as a pre-digestive to get those digestive juices flowing! The flowers look absolutely gorgeous in salads too 😍

Both flowers and leaves are packed with vitamin C so excellent for hay fever 😷sufferers or those with the dreaded summer colds .

Another lovely way to eat this incredible plant is the seeds which can be pickled in white wine vinegar and peppercorns and made into “poor mans” capers which keep for around three months. 🙌

AND if you’re not wholly in love with this lovely edible plant already it’s also self seeding so will come back year after year filling your garden with colour and peppery goodness. 🌺
