Spring foraging at its best. These gorgeous leaves can be found in most woodlands (and a lot of cemeteries) You’ll know you’re nearby as it smells pretty strongly (of garlic - obvs) Blend with some parmesan and chopped hazelnuts and it makes a cracking pesto enjoyed by all the family.

Also if you have a weird love of the white stuff like me (err mayonnaise that is) - add it to homemade or shop bought mayonnaise. It makes the most delicious aioli.

Any form of garlic is great for me at this time of year as my allergies kick in big time. Garlic is a natural form of quercetin (which is a great natural anti-histamine) and is a wonderful anti-inflammatory food.
